What can visitors expect in the rope garden?
And what about safety?Each visitor will receive a safety equipment, consisting of a climbing harness and a helmet. In addition, each participant will be instructed in detail by the coaches. There are two karabiners on the harness and at least one of them is always hooked into the safety rope. So you can move safely and securely in the height. | ||

Within
the naturally grown forest, along the path leading up to Germany's
highest waterfalls, you will be confronted with a number of
artificial obstacles fastened between the trees with steel ropes in
a height of 4 to 20 m – and it is your job to overcome them. At the
end of each exercise, you can take a rest on a small platform before
passing on to the next challenge. Visitors will experience the
forest from a completely new perspective. They can enjoy fantastic
views, master surprising challenges and experience a lot of
interesting moments.
The
"bridges" between the trees are designed in different types and
shapes – at one place, you have to balance over wobbly planks or
climb through rope loops, at other places, you have to cross over
narrow beams or whiz down a rope slide through the forest. If it
happens that you don't know how to go on, there will be experienced
coaches at your side to provide advice and support.
The
rope garden is open for all visitors from the age of 8 years. There
are simple and more complicated tours. One should wear sturdy shoes
and comfortable clothes.
