In brief
This tour is very demanding and only for bikers in an excellent condition who are well trained and able to master also very difficult sections. It will lead you through the "ups and downs" in Holiday Land. Nothing for milksops! Good accessibility by train.

 Description  
  Triberg station - Wasserfälle - Sommerau - Langenschiltach 27 km
From the station, first through the subway and steeply uphill
until the turnoff in direction Triberg,
follow the bike signs and pass the mountain lake (Bergsee),
uphill to the upper entrance to the waterfalls,
follow the forest path “up and down” via Untergeutsche to Nußbach,
at the church turn right, uphill to Sommerau, carefully cross the road,
then straight on, after 1.8 km turn right and take the gravel path to Langenschiltach,
follow the bike signs through the village.


  Langenschiltach - Windkapf - Hornberg - Oberprechtal 42 km
Uphill, after 1.5 km turn right in direction Windkapf and Fohrenbühl,
at Fohrenbühl turn left, downhill to Hornberg,
shortly after entering the town turn left uphill,
then turn immediately to the right again in direction of the station.
At the station downhill, crossing national road B33, uphill
passing the open-air theatre, follow the bike signs
in direction Offenbacher Eck and Oberprechtal,
at the end of the rise turn right in direction Offenbacher Eck,
following the signs, down Huberweg via Landwassereck,
cross the road there and go on to Oberprechtal.


  Oberprechtal - Rohrhardsberg - Martinskapelle - Schonach - Triberg Bahnhof 39 km
After entering Oberprechtal, turn right downhill, at the central crossing turn left,
follow the bike signs and the road straight on,
after 6 km turn right onto a steep gravel path
in direction Rohrhardsberg, at the first farm uphill to the right,
remote destination Martinskapelle,
uphill passing Gasthaus Schwedenschanze,
follow signposts straight on to chapel Martinskapelle,
pass the ski hut and turn sharp left at the first residential building,
downhill in direction Elz spring /Schonach, until crossing the tarred road.
Turn left here, slightly uphill in direction Schonach to Weißenbacher Höhe,
there continue in direction Schonach (alternative route),
follow the forest path, downhill to Reinertonishof, from there uphill,
following the signs “up and down again” to Schonach.
In the town, cross Triberger Straße into Grubweg, uphill to Freiheit,
on gravel and narrow forest paths
a demanding downhill section to the station in Triberg.
